That's a Wrap!
Programming has officially ended! It felt like everything happened at once with recruiting, training, scheduling, and visits all taking place in a short period of time. The last few months have provided so many opportunities for learning — As an organization, we experienced changes and welcomed 4 new staff members to our team. As a community, we continued to navigate the uncertainty and complexity of the COVID-19 pandemic. While working with our partners, we learned about the challenges our teachers were facing along with our volunteers’ desire to be back in the classroom with students. We supported our partners and worked together to find actionable solutions to implement programming. In the end, we were able to engage over 2700 students in hands-on activities led by industry volunteers from their community.
